Mr. Lary was Commissary in Quartermaster's Department of the Army of the Tennessee, Department of the Cumberland, four years, at Nashville three years four months with General Buell, and balance of time at Pulaski, Tenn. He married Harriet Cooper March 7, 1867; she was born in Oswego, N. Y., April 18, 1849; they have four children - John H., born- Nov. 27, 1868; Albert J., born July 27, 1871; Robert C., born Sept. 26, 1874; Lulu Josephine, born Dec. 22, 1877. Are members of the M. E. Church.
